This was our first time to Argentina, and when we arrived in Salta, we weren't sure what to expect. The rooms at the Aldaba Hotel far exceeded our expectations: they were clean, very roomy and quiet. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning was perfect and the bathtub was great to soak in. But it was the staff who won our hearts....always there with whatever we asked for (ice, good wine, recommendations for places to eat, things to do). They also helped us rent a car for about 1/2 of what we had found via the internet at home. And the room rate was VERY reasonable......it was a "five star hotel" with a 2 star cost! We highly recommend it.
